History of Mutton Keema

Mutton Keema, also known as minced mutton curry, is a popular dish with its roots in Mughal cuisine, which heavily influenced the culinary traditions of India and Pakistan. "Keema" refers to minced meat, and the dish was traditionally prepared in royal kitchens using finely ground mutton, slow-cooked with aromatic spices and herbs. Over time, it became a household staple across the Indian subcontinent, often enjoyed with naan, rice, or parathas. Keema is versatile and can be paired with vegetables like peas (mutter) or potatoes, making it a flavorful, protein-rich meal.
